The Architects Registration Board in your state or territory (see below) determines the standards for the registration and professional conduct of architects. It also provides a means of resolving disputes.

Royal Australian Institute of Architects

Architects who are members of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects (RAIA), must abide by the RAIA Code of Professional Conduct. The RAIA is an industry self-regulating body that has the power to reprimand, suspend and expel members whose conduct is contrary to the Code.

You can also contact your state or territory office of Consumer Affairs or Fair Trading or Consumer Protection for advice on your options.
