The
Northern Territory
has its
Retirement Villages Code of Practice
on-line.
The Code is mandatory and covers all retirement village operators, unless they have an exemption
operated by the Minister.

In
Western Australia
each retirement village must have a Village Disputes Committee
which will take your complaint. It that does not help sort out your dispute, you can go to the
WA Retirement Villages Dispute Tribunal
that can assist you if the dispute remains unresolved.

(3) All retirement villages in
Queensland
must comply with the
Retirement Villages Act 1999
which commenced operation on 1 July 2000.
