If you're an old hand at "surfing" the world wide web, you can probably look
away! Things have moved on a lot since we set the site up in 2000 and we know many many more of you are very acomplished at 'surfing' and more.
But rather than delete this page, we've left it here for those who would maybe still like some tips to help you get around (and back to) our
site.
Don't forget
Don't forget that the agencies
we have listed are for you to contact after
you have given
your service provider or
the trader a reasonable
opportunity to fix the problem.
Better viewing
To make the most of your
website viewing use "full screen".
If you use Microsoft Internet
Explorer, click on view and then Full screen.
To return to your normal
settings, click on the restore button (double windows top right.)
If you use another browser
it should have the same facility.
To change the size of the
print, use the View, text size button on your browser.
And refresh the page to get
the latest information.
Links
The hand
Whenever a hand appears on
our site (or any site), there is some kind of a link that you
can use.
It may be a link to get you
around our site more easily, or it may be a link
to one of the
alternative dispute resolution
agencies we have listed.
Just remember, that when
you click on the something that brings up the
hand
you will be taken somewhere (and it may be away from
this site to
another site
eg. to read some important information
such as a code of practice).
Remember to note where you
were so you can get back
(you can usually use the back
button at the top left of your browser to get back to us).
Underlining
The other
way to know that there is a link to something else is when the
words in something
you are reading
are underlined. As an example - find
out about Complaintline.
